As you know, Hong Kong has been shortlisted to host the Gay Games in 2022.
Five site inspectors from the Federation of Gay Games will come to Hong Kong from June 19 to 22 to evaluate our city. They will inspect our proposed sites for each sporting, art and cultural events, evaluate the logistics and appraise the level of community support to host the games.

**** THIS IS WHERE WE NEED YOUR HELP! ****
We are holding a free entry event at PMQ (35 Aberdeen St, Central) from 6.30pm Wednesday 21st June.
We need as many of you to attend to demonstrate that the Hong Kong people really want to host the 2022 Gay Games.
There will be live performances (lion dance, LGBT+ choir, sports demos), food and drinks, and representatives from many Hong Kong businesses, the LGBT+ community along with sports, arts and cultural organisations.
Join us in support of our bid for the Gay Games!
*** WHY DID YOU CHOOSE PMQ? ***
We didn't only choose the event at PMQ for its central location but also because the building has a long history from being part of the Central School campus where Dr. Sun Yat-Sen studied in 1884, then it was a Police Married Quarters until 2007 it became the platform for Hong Kong’s creative industries, it is now.

在申辦2022年同樂運動會的路途上，香港已成功打入最後3強，所以在6月19 - 21日期間，同樂運動會的5名代表將親臨本港，視察香港舉辦該運動會的能力。屆時5 名代表會到訪各個體育、藝術、文化場地，評估運作能力，同時了解香港整個城市對舉辦同樂運動會的支持度。
**** 如何需要你 ****
在同樂運動會代表離港前，我們會舉辦一個大型社區活動，誠邀各界參與！活動將於6月21日(三)晚上6時30分，假中環PMQ元創方(中環 鴨巴甸街35號)舉行，並且免費開放予所有朋友。
為向同樂運動會代表展示香港上上下下申辦2022年運動會的決心，我們需要香港各界的參與，在此誠意邀請你當日出席活動，透過親身參與來向5名代表顯示香港的熱誠。
6月21日的活動當日會有現場表演，包括舞獅、同志合唱團演唱、運動示範等，而香港商界、同志團體、運動員、文化藝術工作者也會出席。大會會以美酒佳餚歡迎大家，請踴躍參與！
