Back in 1979, the London Blitz Club was the epicentre of glamour, glitz and flamboyant fashion kids launching the new sounds and bands of the New Romantics generation. It was a melting pot where outrageous outfits met marvellous musicians….from Boy George to David Bowie.
We are now bringing you Hong Kong’s version: Glitz. Glitz is a new night which draws inspiration from that blitz of the bizarre and beautiful, and music that is both electric and eclectic.
DJs Bling and Redwing, your co-pilots for the evening invite you to fasten your seat belts and join them on a musical flight of fancy, across sonic landscapes of disco dance floors, funk filled fjords, house havens, New Romantic rivers, New Wave nirvanas and Balearic beaches. Expect the unexpected!
For a memorable and meaningful launch night, Glitz is proud to collaborate with the Pink Dot team to promote Pink Dot 2017 that will be held on Sunday 22 October 2017!

To ensure the Glitz night is gorgeously glitzy….we encourage people of all flavours to come, and everyone to dress to impress! Wear something pink! Suitably pink attire to support Pinkdot would be wunderbar: whether it’s punks in pink petticoats (it is Petticoat Lane after all), disco divas in spandex jumpsuits, kilts and pink caps, artists and muses, the curiously and corseted kinky, pink feathers and boas, geisha girls and boys, high heeled hipsters, fashionistas in pink sunglasses, or cocks in pink frocks!
Please join us for a night of magical music rides, among glittering girls and guys and everything in between, and in support of Pinkdot!
Pink Dot is Hong Kong’s largest LGBTI+ and diversity event that will be held Sunday 22 October at West Kowloon Nursery Park.

DJ BLING is the alias of Brian Leung(梁兆輝), Hong Kong’s veteran broadcaster, who's taking his music out of the white-light studio to the flashy dance floor - from old-school house to soul funk to synth-pop to nu-disco to techno to indie-house... BLING it on! Even with a habit of moving from station to station over the years, Brian maintains a strong sense of integrity and eclectic taste in his choice of music. His shows have always been inspiring and ahead of the times. Brian is also a long-time advocate of LGBT equality, hosting the first ever LGBT show “We Are Family” on RTHK and acting as the COO of the local LGBT NGO - BigLove Alliance.
